The pharmacist-independent prescribers can assess and prescribe medications for a range of acute conditions, including:

Ear Conditions

  • Ear infections (otitis externa/media)
  • Impacted earwax

Upper Respiratory & Throat

  • Sinusitis
  • Sore throat/tonsillitis
  • Allergic rhinitis (hay fever)
  • Oral thrush
  • Cough

Skin Conditions

  • Fungal/candida infections (not nail-related)
  • Acne & rosacea (topical treatments)
  • Eczema/psoriasis flare-ups (topical treatments)
